About Our Research Association

Purpose of establishment
The Japan-China Fiscal Research Association is an academic organization established with the aim of deepening and developing research on Chinese public finance in Japan.
Since the beginning of the 21st century, China has come to occupy an important position in the global economy. In particular, since the 2008 Lehman Shock, China has played a role as an engine of growth in the global economy. One of the key factors supporting this rapid economic growth is China's fiscal policy.
This research group, while focusing on public finance, actively integrates knowledge from related fields such as economics, political science, and sociology to conduct a multifaceted analysis of Chinese public finance. Through regular research meetings and academic symposiums, we will provide a forum for presenting the latest research findings and discussing methodologies, thereby promoting continuous academic exchange.
